Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using this application (“App”), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Bravo Charlie Holdings Pty Ltd trading as Bravo Charlie (“Bravo Charlie,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Bravo Charlie grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with this Agreement and the App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App;
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to distribute harmful content.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, post, stream, or otherwise make available through the App (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you grant Bravo Charlie a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly perform, and display such content as necessary to operate and improve the App.

You agree not to post or share any User Content that:

  • Is illegal, defamatory, abusive, or obscene;
  • Promotes violence, or discrimination;
  • Infringes any intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Contains viruses, malware, or any harmful code.

Together the “Objectionable Content”.

Users of the App are provided methods for filtering and flagging “Objectionable Content” and blocking abusive users.

Bravo Charlie reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or restrict access to User Content that violates this Agreement or applicable law, including to act on Objectionable Content reports within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided the content, or not, at Bravo Charlie’s sole discretion.

4. Community Guidelines and Moderation

You agree to comply with all community guidelines published within the App.

We may remove content, or restrict access if we believe your activity violates these guidelines or this Agreement.

Users may report inappropriate content or behavior through in-app reporting tools or by contacting the Shosho team by DM on Nostr.

5. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by you or Bravo Charlie.

You may terminate it at any time by deleting the App. Bravo Charlie may terminate your access at any time for violation of this Agreement or applicable law.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you under this Agreement will end immediately.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and materials provided by Bravo Charlie are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You acknowledge that Bravo Charlie retains all ownership rights in and to the App and its associated services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Bravo Charlie makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bravo Charlie and its affiliates, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

Your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using the App.

9. Compliance with App Store Terms

Your use of the App must comply with all applicable App Store policies and terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

This Agreement is between you and Bravo Charlie only, not with Apple.

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to This Agreement

Bravo Charlie may update this Agreement from time to time. The latest version will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Sydney, NSW.
