Stream titles and thumbnails

Every Show has four fields that tell viewers what to expect:

• Title — what your stream is called.
• Summary — a one- or two-line description.
• Image — the picture viewers see in feeds and on the live event card.
• Hashtags — keywords that help discovery on Nostr clients that support them.

Set these on the Show before you go live.

Save defaults on a server

You can also set a default Title, Summary, and Image on a streaming server. Any new Show you create against that server picks them up automatically — useful if you stream regularly and your title and image are usually the same.

To set them: open the server’s settings screen and edit the fields under About Your Stream.

You can still edit any field on the Show itself before going live without affecting the server defaults.
