Replays
If you stream to Shosho Server, every live stream is automatically recorded and made available as a replay on your profile, so viewers can watch back later.
Other servers may not record by default — or may need recording enabled in their settings. Check with your streaming server provider.
How long replays are kept
Shosho stores replays for 90 days from the date the stream ended. After 90 days the recording is deleted from Shosho Server and the replay is no longer playable.
If you want to keep a replay beyond 90 days, download it before it expires (see below) or clip the moments you care about — clips are stored separately and aren’t subject to the 90-day window.
Downloading a replay
You can download a replay to your own device any time within the 90-day window:
- Open your profile and find the replay you want.
- Open the replay’s options (the ⋯ / “more” menu on the replay).
- Choose Download replay.
- The video is saved to your device as an MP4 file.
Once downloaded, the replay is yours to keep, re-upload, edit, or repost wherever you like. Shosho’s copy of the replay still expires at the 90-day mark — your local copy is independent.
