Sharing server settings between devices

If you’ve set up a streaming server on one device — for example, your phone — you can move it to another device without retyping the RTMP ingest URL, stream key, and HLS playback URL.

Steps

  1. On the device that already has the server configured, open the streaming servers screen.
  2. For the server you want to share, press the ”…” to open the menu, then press the share button. Shosho generates a QR code containing the server configuration.
  3. On your other device, scan the QR code. This should open the Add Server screen.
  4. Press to save the new server.
