Make requests
Categories, collections, tags, and types help buyers find your products on Shosho. If you would like to use a specific category, tag or type on your listings and it is not available you can request that Shosho add it to your Seller Hub. Shosho reviews requests and adds them for all sellers.
You can request:
- Categories — top-level groupings buyers browse by.
- Collections — curated groupings of products that may span categories.
- Tags — keywords that help your products appear in search.
- Types — internal product types used for organisation.
How to make a request
Open Requests
In the Seller Hub sidebar, press Requests.
Pick what to request
Choose Categories, Collections, Tags, or Types.
Submit your request
Press Create, fill in the name and any optional details, and submit.
Wait for review
Your request shows in the table with a status of pending. Once Shosho approves it, the new category, collection, tag, or type becomes available to use on your products.
Tips
- Give a clear, specific name. “Vintage watches” is easier to approve than “old stuff”.
- Add a short description if it helps explain how you’d use it.
- You can keep working — request status updates in the same Requests table when it’s reviewed.
